The School of Engineering at World Skill Center Bhubaneswar marked its third Graduation Ceremony with grandeur. The event held on Friday celebrated the achievements of successful students from the 2023-24 batch, who received medals and certificates.
The School of Engineering (SoE) at World Skill Center features modern industry-oriented courses in Electrical Technology, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechatronics and Mechanical & Electrical Services. As a part of the program, top three trainees from each course were honoured with Gold, Silver & Bronze medals along with certificates.
From among the graduating candidates, Ravva Ananta Kumar bagged Gold, Roshan Kumar Brahma was awarded Silver & Biplab Sahu received bronze in Electrical Technology. Similarly, Sunil Mohapatra bagged Gold, Bikrama Sahu was Awarded Silver & Sujit Kumar Bisoi received Bronze in Mechatronics branch. From Air Conditioning & Refrigeration course, Padmalochana Sahoo bagged Gold, while Santosh Kumar Pradhan received Silver & Biju Routa was awarded a Bronze medal. Sudaya Naik from Mechanical & Electrical Services bagged Gold, Chinmaya Kumar Barik received a Silver & Laxminarayan Dash was awarded a Bronze medal respectively.
Rashmita Panda, Director Employment & CEO Odisha Skill Development Authority, graced the occasion as the chief guest, inspiring the graduating students with her words of encouragement. Principal T Thambyrajah, delivered the welcome address while Dy Principal Dr Subhanga K Das proposed the vote of thanks.
Laxman Kumar Mallick, Director SC Welfare and Laxmikanta Pyarelal Pradhan, Managing Director OSFDC joined the programme as guests.
Among others, Director School of Engineering, Pitchian Anthonysamy & Director SoS, Lim Lai Soon, and other faculty members joined the proceedings to encourage the graduating candidates.
