The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) Ladies Forum in collaboration with the Lakshya Insitute of Technology recently inaugurated an 8 day computer training program at the Bagalpur High School, Jagatsinghpur.
President UCCI Ladies Forum Swarna Prava Samal was the Chief Guest while Dr. Bharati Behera was the Chief Speaker. Rita Pattanaik, Secretary, UCCI Ladies Forum introduced all guests and dignitaries. The event was graced by Susanta Kumar Raut (Chairman, Lakshya Institute of Technology), Bidhu Bhushan (Advisor Lakshya Insitute of Technology / ex- Director Entrepreneur Development Center of Odisha), Atul Bikram Pradhan (Headmaster Bagalpur High School).
Namita Mahapatra, Vice President, Sweta Das Treasurer, Archana Mahapatra, Member, Minati Das, Member also joined the function.
A total of 40 students have been selected to participate in the program and training kits have been distributed to them as well. On the occasion, the ladies forum also distributed food packets to over a hundred students, staff and facilitators at the school.
Such events will help to propagate IT literacy among students. The UCCI Ladies Forum routinely engages in such philanthropic and social service initatives in order to give back to the society.
