Prof Mahadev of Mysore University has joined as the second Vice Chancellor in ASBM (Asian School of Business Management) University at Bhubaneswar. A doctorate and M. Phil. in English from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, he has more than three decades of rich experience in teaching and research. The newly appointed VC had a long stint of 21 years in professor rank at the University of Mysore.
He has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor by the President of the University Prof Biswajeet Pattanayak on the recommendation of the Search Committee and the Board of Governors of the University. Prof Pattanayak congratulated Dr Mahadev on his appointment.
Prior to joining ASBM, he has been a visiting Professor to universities of Delhi, Karnataka, Bangalore and Manipur and had worked in various senior positions. Prof Mahadev is known for his contribution to holocaust literature in English and Kannada.
