Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) has been honoured as Odisha’s premier university in the ‘My City Links Corporate Icon Awards 2022’ for excellence in the field of professional education on Sunday. The award was presented at a ceremony held in Konark.
TV personality and actor Mandira Bedi attended the programme as special guest and presented the award to SOA’s Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das.
Speaking on the occasion, Bedi said she was overwhelmed by the beauty of the Sun Temple at Konark and would look forward to visiting the place once again.
Dr. Priya Priyadarshini Nayak, Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology at SUM Ultimate Medicare was honoured for exceptional service in the field of healthcare. TV channel Prameya News 7 was also honoured on the occasion for its special programme ‘Explore Odisha’ showcasing the state’s art, culture, sculpture, handicrafts and tourist destinations.
