A new web series featuring the dreams, struggle & success story of Odia startup founders, titled ‘Startup Story’, is going to be launched on April 1. Produced by OdishaLIVE, the video series is being hosted by Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) Chairman Subroto Bagchi.

The video series will be published on the Facebook Page and YouTube Channel of OdishaLIVE on first day of every month. The maiden episode of ‘Startup Story’, scheduled for 1 April 2021, showcases the journey of young Odia entrepreneur & NestAway Co-Founder & CEO Amarendra Sahu. In the video, he talks about his life and the journey in making of NestAway a leading home solutions brand of India.

“Today, a lot of people are showing an entrepreneurial spirit. Many having the potential of becoming successful. But, it is a long and challenging journey from a seed of an idea to a successful company. In ‘Startup Story’, we will try to explore and share the stories and dreams of young Odia entrepreneurs with our viewers,” says Subroto Bagchi on occasion of launching of the web series.

The key architect behind the ‘Startup Story’ is Subroto Bagchi, an inspiration for many young minds in the modern business world. In each interview, he comes up with a new Odia startup founder and explores facts and lessons from their journey and achievement which will help many in their own quest. Thus the videos will be informative and inspiring for young entrepreneurs, startups, students and people interested in the startup space & enterprise development.

“The program aims to record, preserve and showcase the inspiring stories of successful Odia startup founders in the interest of the youth and general audience through the digital media. Since a recognised personality like Subroto Bagchi is presenting the show, the importance of the programme has increased manifold,” informs Nilambar Rath, Editor & CEO, OdishaLIVE.

Videos made in the ‘Startup Story’ series will also be shown to the students in various colleges and universities in Odisha under the ‘Mo College’ initiative. Thus the stories will inspire students and youth to pursue innovative ideas and build successful enterprises instead of running after jobs.

‘Startup Story’ is being produced by OdishaLIVE in association with ‘Startup Odisha’. IMFA, TiE Bhubaneswar and FICCI are supporting the series as industry partners. Odia daily ‘Sambad’ has been associated as print partner.

‘Startup Story’ videos will be posted exclusively on OdishaLIVE web & social channels. An article, based on each interview, will also be published on the Odia daily ‘Sambad’ each month along with the OdishaLIVE news portal.
