ILLUMINATIX, the Media and PR Cell of XIMB hosted its Annual Media Conclave Communiqué on 22nd November 2020 with the theme “Brand Storytelling: Fables with the power to change the World.”
Mr. Nilesh Mahajan, VP Reliance Jio initiated the discussion by elaborating on the story of their brand. He gave insights of building a brand that not only sells but also adds value to customers’ lives by serving their present needs and anticipating the prospective ones.
The second speaker Mr. Prashant Aneja, Senior Brand Manager, Flipkart identified the pulse of brand storytelling by walking the captivated audience through some iconic brand campaigns.
Next to speak was Mr. Shahbaaz Mohammed, Senior Brand Manager of Zydus Wellness Ltd. From brand seeding to viral content marketing, Mr. Mohammed took the students on a journey through brand storytelling with glimpses of few brilliant ads of the yesteryears.
Mr. Bodh Deb, VP and Branch Head at AutumnGREY, Mumbai stressed that real-life stories were the muse that served as the crux of brand storytelling with greater impact. The conclave was filled with interactive Q&A sessions with the panel speakers, where they gave thought-provoking answers to equally intriguing questions posed by the students.
The winners of the national level competitions held as a run-up for Communiqué were also felicitated with certificates and prizes within the conclave. The event was concluded by a formal vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Amrit Anand Mohapatra, student coordinator IlluminatiX.
