The central govt. on Thursday submitted before the SC that the orders issued by the latter for the review of restoration of 4G internet services in J&K are being complied with.
The submission was made by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta who was appearing for the central govt. to a bench of the apex court headed by Justice NV Ramana.
The SC was hearing a contempt petition filed by an NGO named Foundation Media Professionals seeking the restoration of 4G internet services in J&K. The NGO also alleged that the SC’s earlier orders are not being compiled by the concerned authorities.
Senior advocate Huzefa Ahmadi appeared for the petitioner.
