Putting all speculations to an end, Mass Education Minister Sameer Das on Monday informed that the matriculation results will be released on July 29. All details regarding the declaration will be announced later through a press release, the minister said.
“Students can check their results through the board’s website and SMS. In view of the Corona crisis and to maintain social distancing, arrangements will be made to ensure that the people do not crowd in front of the board office on the day the results are released,” the minister was quoted saying.
This year, 5.36 million children sat for the board exams. While, the corona epidemic had no effect on the tenth board exams this year, there was marked delay in evaluating the answer sheet. This ultimately led to delays in the publication of the results. However, the board’s evaluation was completed by June end.
