Naveen Patnaik adjudged best CM with an approval rating of over 82%

The results of the ‘C Voter’ survey came amidst the COVID pandemic. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has maintained his popularity among state heads, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign is supported by 75 percent of the people. The survey was conducted in different states and union territories of the country. 3,000 people from each state and union territory were surveyed, according to the agency.

Odisha Supports PM Modi

The first year of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s second term in office has completed recently. The results of the C voter survey came as the Modi government was trying to reach out to the people through digital platforms with various welfare schemes and announcements. As many as 65.69 percent of the people were satisfied with Modi’s work. However, the overall results show that the people of Odisha are more supportive of Modi.

As many as 95.6 percent of Odisha voters are satisfied with Modi’s performance according to the survey. Similarly, 93.95 percent of the survey takers have supported PM Modi from Himachal Pradesh while a total of 91.73 percent of people in Chhattisgarh have voted in favour of PM Modi. Gujarat, the home state of PM Modi has supported him with 71.61 percent votes. Interestingly, Tamil Nadu has shown least support for the prime minister with a vote share of 31.25%

Naveen the Frontrunner

Naveen Patnaik tops the list of the country’s most popular chief ministers. 82.96 percent of people are satisfied with Naveen’s work, according to a C voter survey. Naveen is followed by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is at the third place. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy holds the fourth position according to the C Voter survey.

On the contrary, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are among the least popular chief ministers as per the surveyed group.

Tamilnadu supports Rahul Gandhi

The poll also included former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. However, Rahul faded in the face of Modi’s massive public support. Still, Rahul has received notable support from Tamil Nadu. While Narendra Modi got 31.25% votes in Tamil Nadu, Raga secured 36.12% of votes for himself.
